Working on a local arable farm from the age of 17, a Scottish salmon hatchery on Loch Awe, followed by dairy experience on Roxholme Estates provided Harvey with a sound grounding for the future. Shuttleworth Agricultural College followed, with a National Certificate in Agriculture (NCA) and a National Certificate in Farm Management (NCFM). Harvey returned to run the seed growing farm for the A W Page business. At the age of 35 Harvey moved into the seed production side of the business, taking great pride in the quality of seed produced. Harvey is Managing Director and owner and continues to be the forefront of the A W Page business. Helen Middlebrook - Seed Production Coordinator NIAB Crop Inspector (Cereals) - NIAB Seed Sampler - NIAB Seed Certification Helen has been with the company for over 8 years and has now achieved a variety of NIAB and BASIS qualifications within the industry, she also now holds her BASIS CertCropProt (Seed Sellers). Helen comes from a farming and equestrian background and although originally started at the company as an Office & Account Administrator, she is now enjoying taking on the extra role of Seed Production Coordinator and will be your first point of contact. Hmiddlebrook@awpageseeds.com Warehouse Operatives Peter Ireland & Nigel George - PA1 & PA11, Counterbalance Forklift Certificate Pete has been with the company for over 50 years and has worked across the whole plant in various roles, and has a wealth of knowledge surpassed by non. Nigel is now in his 9th year at the company and has worked his way up through the different rolesin the warehouse. The team work together well, and are always happy to help each other out in a variety of different roles across the company, making cups of tea, delivering seed, stacking bags, loading lorries , and sampling seed is all in a day's work!!
